Percival Kofi Akpaloo, founder and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) has insisted former president John Dramani Mahama has no affinity and chance to be re-elected president of the Republic.
He has described the former president as a nonstarter who has no capacity to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to win the 2024 polls.
He has accordingly implored the NDC delegates to reject him in the party’s forthcoming presidential elections.
The former president is currently touring the country to canvass support from delegates to lead the NDC in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Mr. Mahama was the first to pick form to contest the NDC presidential primaries when the party opened nomination in preparation for the 2024 general elections.
The form was picked on his behalf by Professor Joshua Alabi, the National Campaign Chairman of the 2020 national campaign team of the party.
Kofi Akpaloo who was speaking in an interview with Onua TV maintained that the former president has no chance to come back to power to rule Ghana. His reason he revealed was that Mahama failed Ghanaians woefully during his time as president and has nothing new to offer the country.
