I have many teachers, I like them they are good and exceptional, But among them is Mr Addo Samuel populary known as Sir Alge or the Highest priest is the most admirable or exemplary among all and my favorite. His attitude is very meritorious and he is very optimistic about everyone’s future . His methods of teaching are very astounding and magnificent he proves all his methods and steps for better understanding . This man can give you a question and even provide you with answers and no individual can even answer . Most people in my school and class call him the “Indestructible mathematician”. Most people think he is the best mathematics teacher in abusco and I agree 100%with them .
This man has got something in him which I like most he brings out the best in everyone and encourages people to be the best vision of themselves, he likes to create challenge among students to prove that no matter the class or course you are offering you are equally better as others or else who would have thought that a General arts student like myself and others would be grouped together to write the same test and compete with science students . He surrounds with him all who are hardworking and serious you can’t be around him cause because you can be made to write a test at anytime, anywhere and any place, you just have to be prepared anytime u are around him. He is very merriment to be with, he treats all as his sons and daughters . He calls everyone son or daughter. Most of the students calls all those who are around him “Alge mma”meaning kids of Alge because of how he treats us.

He has got a great intimacy with the school (Abusco) . The only teacher so far who is able to use his own pocket money to provide graph boards for every single class in the school both the ones he teaches and the ones he doesn’t such an altruistic man. The only teacher who could conduct classes for people and not take a dime from them. He could use his own pocket money to support students through territory such a generous man . He could create a study group all by himself and spend a lot of time and money to print questions and provide answer sheets for all, in fact this man is really dedicated to education and have achieved a lot and must be appreciated for his exceptionalism
Sir Alge isn’t just a great teacher but also my ideal person. His advises and encouragement just keeps us motivated and moving, the love he shares to us is unbelievable he is just an altruistic man of honor and everyone loves him . I am just lucky to be his student and I will always follow his principles even after leaving this school , he will remain my favorite teacher and I will never forget him . I will always remember the values taught me , how he taught me to face the challenge of difficult questions. The only one who could set a question which the whole school can’t even answer we appreciate you We thank you for your dedication, love, compassion and your affable service you have showed to us . The Highest Priest we shall remember your love for ever and ever we plead that you continue loving us and supporting us

My name is Constance and I am a student of ABUAKWA STATE COLLEGE(Abusco).I am in the Agricultural Science class and I am a second year student .I have been with sir Samuel Addo for more than two years and I know him very well ,he is my mathematics teacher in class so as my mathematics teacher during classes.
Sir Algy as we all call him is a patience and a good teacher, when he first taught me in class I really understood and I hope he will forever teach me . He made mathematics to me the best and easiest subject ever ,sir Algy teaches my class 6 hours in a week I never missed his class because I can say with all might that his class is the most interesting class . I sit prepared every single time I have his class and wait for him.
When he first taught us ,I began to like him just for the reason that he would make me understand mathematics. People say I am obsessed with sir Algy , YES I AM , I admit it . He began his classes at school in our first year and I made my mind to join . I went through with him till my first year second semester, my parents had an accident and I couldn’t continue any more ,he came to hear of it and asked me to join without paying for the classes fee and that is when I found my real angle . I saw him as a god because that was the first time some one was actually helping me. I became overwhelmed and so happy that I could sell sadness forever .
Sir Samuel Addo became my father , people called me ” Algy ba ” ,people did not know what at all he had done for me but in my mind I will be like’ this man a directly saved my life’ . I like it when they call me Algy ba .

I felt so proud to have sir Samuel Addo as my father . This teacher is supportive and defends me every time and does not hesitate to correct me when I am wrong .He encourages me and many others,He gathered some people from all classes and gave us a special prepping place, when he chose me to be apart of it I almost melted.I appreciated that alot.I had the chance to ask the people I prepped with for help because I knew very well that they would not hesitate as others in my own class do.
Sir Addo is the greatest teacher of all time and to be honest I appreciate him so much , I can boldly say he is my “hero”.I sometimes get average grades, average I can say is very bad for me,I can sometimes cry just because of that, but he tells me every time that I am doin my best and I can do better next time.
Sir Samuel Addo has taught sooo many people, our school fathers and mothers.I can say boldly and honestly that most of them have gotten successfully to their respective universities and I hope one day I will be there too.He puts up challenges amongst us,he sometimes even contests with us to bring the best out of us.
Sir Algy wants his students to be the best of all times. Comparing us to other schools he says we are the best.YES WE ARE.We would make him proud because he is putting in all his effort as a teacher to help his students.Every student sir Algy has taught, will teach and is teaching, would be the greatest of all times. I say thank you to the best teacher ever.
Its takes a great tutor to make a lasting impression & Sir.Alge,Certainly left one with me.This tutor’s tale of ambition is to produce a plethora A’s,that is (8As and much A’s)among steadfast students during his period of teaching in the sch.One peculiar aspect of him,is the ability for not absenting himself from class for no reason. So i put it,”PUNCTUALITY ITS HIS PRIORITY “.His good work ethics makes him a mentor to thousands of students on campus.
Sir Alge has brought about numerous projects all geared towards the attainment of his goal as a responsible tutor to decorous students like Abuscodians. He bestowed graph boards to the school,Organises test at least twice a week,Organises a private preps studies for desperately determined ones, proved from our ends of semesters results and he is passionate & takes delight in doing all this.
I usually call him dad,& he warmly accept and respond to me as son.Sir Alge ,usually makes a metacognitive awareness, therefore highlighting on our strengths and weaknesses.

As the saying goes,”BETTER THAN A THOUSAND DAYS OF DILIGENT STUDY IS ONE DAY WITH A GREAT TEACHER,”.yh teacher like sir Alge ,am highly delighted to have you.You are well known by others to be an Inventive,Intuitive & Inspiring tutor.Your Constructive feedback we love most. Also, your desire in organising classes on weekends regardling the fact that you are their class teacher or not is highly appreciated. He is ainmed at the success of Abuscodians.
For the love of the Sch.and students,he just dont teach for salary sake, but prepares us for the road ahead as students. As the saying goes,Teachers Can Change Lives With The Right Mix Of Chalk And Challenges.Am hoping a year bage can pls imitate this acts and help by providing certain necessity which can help put the sch.on a higher ground.
Sir Alge, always make me understand not by words but through his actions as a devoted tutor that, HOLISTIC EDUCATION IS THE PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE. Thank you Sir. For a remarkable Impact you’ve inculcate in me and I say, A responsible tutor like Sir Alge is Hard to find, Difficult to part with & Impossible to forget. God richly bless you for the unfading Love you have for Abusco and Its Students…
ABOUT MY FAVORITE TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD*
I am Otis Sarkodie Oti, a current Telecommunications engineering student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and with the honor of being a student of Mr. Addo Samuel
Mr. Addo Samuel was my math teacher in SHS, Abuakwa State College (Abusco), he tend out to be more than my math teacher. He is really concerned about my progress even after I completed SHS, he kept on monitoring my improvements even in the tertiary. He even requests for my results after every semester ends to see my progress made. I had a lot of teachers that really helped me in school, but this special teacher Mr. Addo Samuel really cared about me and he is the one that has made me who I am today. He grew my enthusiasm for mathematics, and as a result, I obtained As in both elective and Core maths as I wrote my WASSCE, and I can bet I would obtain an ‘A’ regardless the number of times I would write those two papers, because he has made me really good in maths.
Mr Addo Samuel A.K.A Sir Alge is a person rare to come by. His attitude is very admirable and he is very optimistic about everyone’s future . His methods of teaching are very unique, he always uses outstanding teaching methods for better understanding. First time I was totally unable to solve a math problem was a question from this admirable man. Almost all my mates say he is the best math teacher they have come across and I am in total agreement with them. Sir Alge is by far one of the best teachers that I have ever had. He has the ability to make a subject many students find boring very intriguing through his enthusiasm and passion for mathematics, and his love of being a teacher, going to his lessons is something I always looked forward to, not dread, like with most other lessons.
This man has got something in him which I like most, he brings out the best in everyone just like he did in me, the reason why I tend to love math, and he encourages people to be the best version of themselves, he likes to create challenges among students to prove that no matter the class or course you are offering you can overcome whatever problem you come across. Due to how I had grown my maths through him, I could join the NSMQ team in my school. And he also kept teaching me a lot of stuffs there also because he is a tutor for the NSMQ team. I am really glad for how he improved us all
To be able to hang with him, you must be serious and hardworking, if you are lazy, you wouldn’t like to, because you can abruptly be tested. He is a joy to be with and treats all as his children. He has a close relationship with his students.
He can conduct free classes for people. He is a very giving man who can organize study groups among the students and spend a lot of time with everyone, this man is really committed to educating others and have helped a lot and I really appreciate him for this exceptionalism.
Not only is he an excellent instructor, but I also value his counsel and support. Just keeps me progressing and incentivized, the love he shares is unbelievable, he is a gentleman of integrity and everyone loves him. I am just lucky to be his student and I will always adhere to his principles even after I left the school. He remained my favorite teacher and I will never forget him, I will always remember the value he taught me, the only one who could set a question with the entire school unable to answer, thank you for your commitment, love, compassion, services and support. I plead you continue this service and support.
I’m glad I met him and to be a product of his, Sir Alge thank you very much.

Perfect, indeed he is the best I have known too. More love Sir Alge

Wow This is amazing.
It’s positive and I’m not surprised at all.
Sir Alge congratulations.
Some of us are pioneers of your son’s.
I started writing mathematics notes when He started teaching in my school at JHS.
I was admitted as general arts student at SHS and was having challenge.
I contacted him and I changed my course to Business department.
I became one of the best in my class even though I didn’t start the class with them.
I want to say Sir Alge will always bring the best in you.
I have not forgotten one lashes he gave me when I failed to cross his pass mark back in JHS even though I came first at the end of the text. He told me he would not forgive me.
I’m now a police officer but we still communicate on how to climb in academics.
Sir Alge we are indebted to you.
God bless you.
Maths doctor.

Good work and talented sir ..God bless you much 🙏❤️
Mr. Addo Samuel, also known as “Sir Alge” or “the Highest Priest,” is my favorite teacher and the most exemplary among all my teachers. He is an admirable individual with a positive outlook on everyone’s future. His teaching methods are both astounding and magnificent, and he takes the time to explain every step thoroughly for better understanding. Mr. Addo has a reputation for being an “indestructible mathematician” and can provide a question with an answer that no one can solve. I, along with most people at my school, believe he is the best mathematics teacher at Abusco.
With his methods of teaching it has really helped me to cope with the pressure of civil engineering which I’m offering at Accra Technical university
You are such an amazing teacher who always motivate us . Some topics were cumbersome but you made them easy to understand by connecting stories with it which made that topic memorable. The way you teach is commendable . From first class to the last the enthusiasm in your class never faded.
Sir Alge is an exceptional educator who has made a profound impact on my academic journey. For the past years I’ve known him, his dedication, expertise, and passion for teaching created a supportive and inclusive learning environment that allowed me to grow and thrive. I appreciate the guidance and mentorship he provided, which helped me achieve my academic goals and pursue my passions. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have learned from Sir Alge and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and caring educator.
A young boy like me, walking into the vast atmosphere of Abuakwa State College, I was wondering if I could leave its confines with my dreams fulfilled-the dream of having conquered every course to get enrolled in one of the best Universities. Was more worried because I was already confused in a first few lectures. Sir Samuel became the key man who nurtured that dream, making it a reality. His unwavering support and resilience in making sure that every one of his students become the best versions of themselves was one thing he did most. I’m very grateful to him because alongside me, many other students have found feet in academia because of his mentorship, fatherly and brotherly advice and technical skills when it comes to making students understand a concept. Only if there were a lot more Sir Samuels out there.
Dear Samuel Addo,
I’m writing to express my deepest gratitude for the impact you had on my life during senior high school. Your teaching did far more than help me pass exams — you gave me a deep understanding and confidence in mathematics that has stayed with me everywhere I’ve gone since.
Your passion for the subject, your patience, and the way you broke down complex concepts made math not just manageable, but enjoyable. You didn’t just teach formulas and methods — you trained my mind to think critically and logically. Because of your dedication, I now walk into any math-related challenge with assurance and clarity.
Thank you for believing in me, pushing me beyond my limits, and laying the foundation that has supported so much of my academic and professional journey. You are truly one of the most influential teachers I’ve ever had, and I’ll always be grateful.
With sincere appreciation,
Nathaniel Wisdom Sakyi
Sir Alge is not just an educator, he is a father to the kids in the school, an instructor, a priest to a mentor to mention a few of what he is the children. I met him through my son whilst he was a student of Abuakwa State College, I would say he’s one of the reason why I’ll say my son never regretted ever going to the school, never discriminate, meeting him was never a regret for me because he saw more than just a student, he identified hidden talent in him which I’m very grateful for. I’ll say his stay in the school was not a regretable time I mean even when he left the school his absence was felt. After my son left the school, he followed up to know his results and the higher institution he would go to and the course he’ll be offering. I can’t be more grateful to God for his life. Sir Alge, you’re more than a teacher. Keep doing what you know how to do best God gat you. We are grateful. Even out of school your boy is doing great. Can you imagine in Level 100 he was selected to be an executive member of the school he’s in (CENTRAL UNIVERSITY) all because of the good foundation he has under your care. Thank you very much is all I can say God bless you sir
Sir Alge was one of the most impactful math teachers I’ve had. His clear explanations, patience, and genuine support helped me build confidence and a strong foundation in math. Alge Man,it is an honour to write this testimonial in support of your professional portfolio. Reflecting on my time in senior high school, I can confidently say that your influence as my mathematics teacher and favorite teacher played a significant role in shaping my academic journey and personal development.
From the very first lesson, your passion for teaching mathematics was evident. You had a unique ability to make even the most challenging topics accessible and engaging. Concepts that many of us initially found intimidating such as calculus, algebra and trigonometry became clearer through your thoughtful explanations, practical examples and constant reinforcement. What stood out most was your patience and willingness to go the extra mile for your students. Whether it was staying behind after class to clarify a concept, organizing extra sessions before exams or simply encouraging us to believe in our potential, your commitment to our success never wavered.
More than just teaching formulas and solving equations, you taught us how to approach problems critically and analytically. These are skills that have stayed with me and continue to serve me well in higher education. Beyond the classroom, your personal support and motivation helped me build the confidence to pursue my academic goals. You treated each student with respect and understanding, creating an environment where we felt safe to ask questions and grow.
Today, I am pursuing an MPhil in Meteorology and Climate Science at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), having previously obtained a bachelor’s degree in the same field. Mathematics is a fundamental part of my programme and I often draw on the solid foundation you helped me build back in senior high school. Whether I’m analysing atmospheric data, developing models or interpreting scientific results, the logical thinking and problem-solving strategies you taught continue to guide me.
Looking back, I truly appreciate the role you played not just as a teacher, but as a mentor who believed in his students and challenged us to excel. I am grateful for the impact you had on my education and proud to have been one of your students. Your dedication to excellence in teaching is evident in the many lives you’ve touched including mine.

Well… Gratitude is a must, so i must commend sir Alge for his good deeds. First of all, I met sir Alge in Abuakwa State College where my hopes were shattered in the field of mathematics. I didn’t think I’ll ever get a hope to understand the concept of mathematics, just then I met him and he gave that hope no one ever gave in the college… It was very surprising how he will calmly explain concepts over and over again till i get it and how we will spend more than the classes hours just for me to understand. Looking back i have realized, he wasn’t actually in for only the money but rather to impact the lives of his students. Everyone will agree that his contribution to education is top notch. Now, look with the help of Sir Alge, I’m now a student of the university of cape coast studying communication studies.
I must say Sir, really has a way to bring the best out of people, through my days of studying with him and some conversations we had alongside he really helped me to discover more about myself and I’m very indebted to him.
Truly, truly, everyone needs a sir Alge in their lives😇
As a former student of Sir Alge, I can confidently say that his teaching played a significant role in shaping my academic foundation. He had a unique way of simplifying complex topics and always made time to support us both inside and outside the classroom. His passion for education and dedication to our success were evident in the way he encouraged critical thinking, discipline, and academic excellence.
Thanks to his guidance and constant motivation, I was able to excel in my studies and develop confidence in my abilities. I am currently on a steady path in my academic and professional journey, and I owe much of that to the values and skills I gained through his mentorship. I am proud to have been taught by such an inspiring educator.
I am Detrick Agyemang.
I met Mr.Samuel Addo , popular known as sir Alge at ABUSCO.
He treated us not as students only but as his own children, with fatherly guidance and motivations.
He made mathematics an interesting subject during his time at ABUSCO.
All I can say is thank you , may the Lord God send him to greater heights and expand his territories.
Learning E-maths with Sir Alge as my facilitator was an unforgettable experience! He had a fun and engaging way of teaching that made even the most challenging topics easier to grasp. Although I received my fair share of lashes (haha), I now realize it was all part of the discipline and drive that pushed me to do better. Today, I’m often described as “sharp” in business maths — a title I wear proudly, thanks to the solid foundation I gained under his guidance. I carry the confidence in numbers that Sir Alge helped instill in me. Thank you, Sir, for believing in us even when we didn’t believe in ourselves.
Teachers play essential role in shaping the lives of students including academic success and personal growth. Throughout my academic journey, I have been fortunate to encounter numerous teachers who have shaped my understanding and appreciation of various subjects. However, one of the most influential figures in my academic journey who still stands out in my memory and is very exceptional is my high school Mathematics teacher, Mr. Addo Samuel alias “Sir Alge (Algebra)” or “High Priest”. Mr. Addo’s style of teaching was very engaging and interactive, making complex Mathematics concepts very easy accessible and understanding to everyone in class. Mr. Addo personally took genuine interest in my academics since the day I arrived in high school. He actually gave me a list of book series which would be helpful in my academic journey since I was pursuing General Science. He did not end there; he made me join his extra classes free of charge. He understood my strengths and weaknesses and tailored his teachings to meet my needs and not to my needs only but also individuals who encountered him. His Maths questions were very difficult and at times I could score zero and lost hope but he continued encouraging me, making me aware it wasn’t the end; and although I’m not the best, I’m proud to say that I’m good in Maths through Mr. Addo.
My father personally handed me to Mr Addo and often referred to me as “Mr Addo ein pikin” meaning “Mr Addo’s daughter” due to his selfless service, hard work, values and principles he instilled in me.
Before he left for the States, Mr. Addo encouraged me to explore my interests and make him proud, always using the term “Make daddy proud”. He still reaches out to me, following up with my progress in academics and life.
In conclusion, Mr. Addo never took teaching as a mere profession; he showed enthusiasm and passion for the work. And I am deeply grateful for the time we had together and the impact he has on my life; his influence has shaped me into the person I am today and I will always commend and recommend his work to others though he deserves more than that. I really cherish the memories and lessons we shared. God bless you Daddy, you really prove that you are the right guidance and mentor every student needs for academic excellence.
Iam delighted to provide a testimony about Mr. Samuel Addo. During his stay in Ghana, he was a teacher at Abuakwa state college where he proved himself to be competent and he. has in-depth knowledge in mathematics. He taught my son at Abuakwa state college. Initially my son was very weak in mathematics through his exceptional competency. Mr. Samuel Addo was able to lift my son academically. Despite the fact that my son who previously struggled with mathematics, is now pursuing computer engineering at the University of Energy and Natural Resources. Although I was not directly taught by Sir Addo Samuel — widely known to us as “Sir Alge” because of his unmatched brilliance in Algebra — his influence on my academic life was profound and unforgettable.
I was in Science 3, and he taught Science 1, but his reputation transcended classroom walls. Through his commitment to excellence, powerful presence, and consistent mentorship, Sir Alge became a role model for many of us. He had a rare ability to make students believe in themselves, even those he didn’t teach directly. His words of encouragement, his mathematical genius, and his deep concern for student growth created a ripple effect that reached far beyond his class.
It was by observing his discipline, listening to the stories and advice he shared, and aspiring to match the standards he set that I began reshaping my goals and mindset. He played a vital role in helping me take my academics more seriously, sharpening my focus, and nurturing my confidence.
Today, I’m proud to be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR). I’ve engaged in leadership, taken on hands-on projects in electronics, coding, and web development, and continue to chase the values Sir Alge inspired in me — hard work, vision, and excellence.
Sir Addo Samuel didn’t just teach a class. He built a legacy. I am honored to have witnessed it and even more honored to write this in his name.

Although I was not privileged to sit in his class, the influence of Sir Addo Samuel, widely known as Sir Alge, on my academic life during my time at Abuakwa State College remains deeply profound.
While he officially taught Science 1 and I was in Science 3, his presence on campus transcended classroom walls. His passion for teaching, unmatched brilliance in Algebra, and high expectations of his students inspired many of us across departments. His name became synonymous with excellence, and even those of us outside his class felt the pressure and motivation to rise to the standard he represented.
Sir Alge played a key role in supporting my journey as an NSMQ contestant. He encouraged me, challenged my thinking, and always offered meaningful advice that helped me sharpen both my academic discipline and logical reasoning. His belief in my potential helped me believe more in myself. His mentorship during that time was a turning point in my academic growth and confidence.
Today, I am proud to be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), Ghana. Mr. Addo’s style of teaching was very engaging and interactive, making complex Mathematics concepts very easy, accessible and understanding to everyone in class. Mr. Addo personally took genuine interest in my academics since the day I arrived in high school. He actually gave me a list of books which would be helpful in my academic journey since I was pursuing General Science.
He still reaches out to me to check on my progress in academics and life.
In conclusion, Mr. Addo never took teaching as a mere profession, he showed enthusiasm, love and passion for the work.
I’m Richmond a former student of Mr Addo Samuel wayback in Abuakwa State College,Ghana.Mr Addo has been very instrumental in my Academic journey. My encounter with Mr Addo was like a miracle to me.I was a non performance student in mathematics from my junior high school but when I met Mr Addo upon identifying my weakness,he took it upon himself to teach me after school lecture sessions from my first year to final year and I became one of the best mathematics students then. There was a time a mathematics competition was conducted for the whole final year students with a population of about 700 and I emerged as the third. My experience with him did not only affect my performance in mathematics but in almost all my courses because his impact on me changed my mentality and approach to studies. In addition, after my Senior High School studies he still guided me and now I’m a Bachelor degree holder in Physician Assistantship Studies with an above average cgpa from a notable health institution in Ghana.
I’m thrilled to provide a testimonial for Sir Alge, who had a profound impact on my academic journey. As my teacher, Sir Alge demonstrated exceptional dedication, patience, and expertise in his subject matter(Mathematics). His support and guidance were instrumental in helping me achieve my academic goals. Under Sir Alge’s mentorship, I developed a deeper understanding of Mathematics and cultivated essential skills that have served me well in my subsequent pursuits. His ability to break down complex concepts into manageable parts and tailor their teaching approach to meet the needs of individual students was truly impressive. Sir Alge’s passion for teaching and commitment to their students’ success are qualities that set them apart as an outstanding educator. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have learned from him and appreciate the lasting impact they’ve had on my academic and professional development.
I’m currently in the University Of Cape Coast, reading B.Sc Agribusiness and he has attribute a significant part of my success to the strong foundation Sir Alge helped me build. I wholeheartedly endorse Sir Alge as an exceptional educator and would recommend them to anyone seeking a supportive and knowledgeable teacher.
Honestly speaking, sir Alge has been a great impact on my life because there was a point in my life where I did not know what I was literally going to do. Because, my mathematical foundation was so weak that even after revising several times, I still couldnt make the grades. That was until I ended up in a class session he was teaching.
From that point, it felt like I was rebuilding my mathematical life. He made is so understandable. He had a great relationship with all students making jt easy for them to approach him.
And also, his methodology and approach to solving questions is diverse
He is indeed a great teacher
God bless you Sir Alge
During my time as student under Sir Alge, Mr. Samuel Addo guidance at Abuakwa State College was a memorable and transformative experience that has significantly impacted my academic journey and my path forward. Mr. Samuel Addo was my Mathematics teacher; his passion and engaging teaching style sparked my love for mathematics and that enable me to excel in it. He had interest in my academics as a whole and not just mathematics, he provided unwavering support across all my subjects. His commitment to my success extended beyond academics; he consistently inspired me to strive for excellence in all aspects of life, fostering both confidence and ambition.

Mr. Samuel Addo has been a great contributor to my educational journey and I’m deeply grateful his mentorship and highly recommend him as a teacher who truly makes a lasting impact.
I’m Ernestina Kankam Asomaning, recent graduate from the University of Ghana and a former student of Mr. Samuel Addo affectionately known as Sir Alge . Being under his tutelage was a turning point in my academic journey, especially in Mathematics. As someone who didn’t naturally enjoy the subject, Sir Alge’s unique teaching methods, patience, and ability to break down complex concepts made learning much easier and even enjoyable for me.
Beyond academics, he went the extra mile to support us. He was always approachable and genuinely cared about our well-being both in and out of the classroom. During my final year of senior high school, he personally guided me through the university application process, helping me select programs aligned with my strengths. When I received my admission, he continued to follow up and support me through the transition.
Even after graduation, Sir Alge remained a consistent source of encouragement. When I tragically lost my father, he showed great empathy and even supported me financially during that difficult time. He still checks in on me and treats me not just as a former student but as a friend.
Mr. Adoo is truly one of the best educators I’ve encountered his dedication goes far beyond the classroom, and I’m grateful to have been his student.
It’s a true privilege to write this testimonial for Sir Alge, whose influence on my academic journey has been profound. As an educator, Sir Alge consistently brought clarity, patience, and enthusiasm to every lesson. He had a unique ability to simplify complex concepts—especially in mathematics and logical thinking—making them approachable and even enjoyable.
His support extended far beyond the classroom. He encouraged my curiosity, challenged me to think critically, and provided timely feedback that helped me grow both academically and personally. Through his guidance, I developed a deeper appreciation for problem-solving and analytical thinking, which have been essential in my current studies.
Thanks to Sir Alge’s mentorship, I am now pursuing Telecommunications Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). His impact on my journey is undeniable, and I carry his lessons with me daily.
Sir Alge is not just a great teacher—he’s a mentor, a motivator, and a true asset to any educational institution.
I must say Sir Alge’s teaching approach was unconventional.Especially when we(students) used to be studying to only pass exams and not to understand.
He made us understand what the examiner expected from the students and how to satisfy the various marking schemes with examples .
In the long run, we ended up learning to understand both the examiner and the subject.
‘Big ups’ to an exemplary teacher.
I’m currently a lab scientist who is also into sustainable urban agriculture.
“Sir Alge”, as I affectionately call him, has in many ways had an impact on my academic journey — from Abusco to date.
He may no longer be in Abusco but his efforts and counselling is still with me. May nature reward him in a thousand fold.
Sir Addo is a great mathematician who has impacted so many lives, including my daughters’.He is full of enthusiasm and also an epitome of hard work. He radiates this positive attitude wherever he finds himself. One thing I admire about him is how he plays a father figure in the lives of his students. His kind hearteness and generosity are exceptional .God bless him so much for making my daughter love mathematics so well
My daughter is now studying Medical Imaging and Radiography at the University of Health and Allied Sciences. Ho
He is a remarkable teacher and also God-fearing gentleman
As a parent, I have always wished for the best for my daughter who was a science student in Abuakwa State College.I made sure this wish came through by giving her all the support she needed but it never came with challenges.Mathematics for some reason has always been a challenge for most people, most especially females and my daughter was no exception .
In the midst of the challenge, that seemed to be unsummountable,Mr Samuel Addo provided the needed help.He took personal interest in helping her overcome the fear of mathematics .Not only did he help her improve in elective mathematics but then encouraged her in the other subjects as well.
Through out her stay in the schoo,l he became the teacher that I could always call on to discuss my daughter’s academic progress and performance .Very humble and tolerant and was always ready to offer support when required.Suprisingly,he did that without no financial benefit.
At the end my daughter sailed through the WASSCE and i will be grateful to Mr.Samuel Addo, popularly known as Sir Alge. JAH BLESS

I am Emmanuella Agyare Mfumah, currently a dedicated physiotherapist in a polyclinic. I owe a great deal of this achievement to one outstanding teacher named Mr. Samuel Addo A.K.A Sir Alge. In addition to being my maths teacher in S.H.S, he was also my mentor who had faith in me during a period when I was still developing my voice. He always emphasized critical thinking, maintaining curiosity, and aiming for personal brilliance over merely passing tests. Students like myself felt seen, heard, and capable because of the clear, disciplined, and compassionate way he taught.
Excellence was encouraged in his classroom through belief rather than fear. He had a knack for making each student feel capable. Most notable was his capacity to bring out the best in his students. He spent time getting to know each of us as people, not just as scholars. He challenged us to do more than we believed we could. His advice to never settle for less than what I am capable of and to always arrive prepared is still ringing in my head.
Sir Alge has a significant and long-lasting impact on my academic and professional growth. My educational beliefs and objectives were greatly influenced by his dedication to perfection and his capacity to develop potential. I gained the self-control, critical thinking abilities, and discipline required for sustained success under his tutelage. His guidance went beyond academic teaching; it gave me a profound appreciation for education and self-improvement. Much of what I have done so far stems from the values he continually exemplified. His influence still shapes my methods as a professional and lifetime learner.
Thank you very much Sir Alge for your great impact in my life and that of other students. Please continue your great works and your deeds will not be forgotten.
Great Algeman, they always asked why you were giving us tough questions to answer not knowing you were preparing us for some time to come. You made mathematics so easy for us. God bless you.

Sir Alge is the man who made me believe that no student is a failure. Even if you are a clean slate without any knowledge, by the time he is done teaching you, you will leave with something worth talking about. My mathematics was really bad that when I hear about the subject, I get scared. Always thinking how I will pass my final exams and move forward in my academic journey. But when I met sir Samuel, the algebra himself during my senior high school days at Abuakwa state college, I started loving the subject. His teaching and even life advices has shaped me into who I am today. Currently a student at the University of education winneba, reading English language education and communication . As my teacher,he was not only knowledgeable and dedicated, but also supportive and encouraging throughout my learning experience. He took the time to explain complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand. Due to his teaching, my love for Mathematics was restored . There’s no way you would be around him without writing a test. No matter the state in which you’re in, you would be given the question paper to start work. His questions, as he would say, are like bread and ground pepper paste, only hungry people can eat and feel comfortable.
Thanks to his guidance, I developed a deeper understanding and appreciation for the subject, which played a significant role in my academic growth. Today, I’m proud to be pursuing my studies in Biological Sciences at the University of Ghana.

Upon coming to Abuakwa State College, I was worried about how I could come out successfully and find my feet in one if the best universities. The beginning was not easy, but Sir Samuel’s (alias Sir Alge) unwavering support and eagerness to make sure we all become the best was key. He was a passionate , hardworking, and diligent teacher. Outside the class, he was a mentor who we could trust with our personal problems and he always welcomed us as if we were his younger siblings of the same parents. Only if there were more Sir Alges.
I’m Richmond a former student of Mr Addo Samuel. Mr Addo has been very instrumental in my academic journey in several ways.Mr Addo was not just a tutor but a father and mentor.Wayback during my secondary high school education the support of Mr Addo has accelerated my performance immensely.I was very very weak in mathematics but my encounter with Mr Addo changed everything like a magic.Mr Addo, upon identifying my weakness in mathematics took it upon himself to personally teach me and other students after lecture hours and would always give us try questions to solve inorder to enhance our understanding on the subject.Through this effort offered by him i saw a massive change in my performance from my second year in school and in my final year, I emerged as a third runner in a mathematics competition organised for the whole final year students. Also,a got distinction in mathematics in my certification examination.I must confess,Mr Addo’s influence on me did not only affect my performance in mathematics alone but affected my performance in other courses as well.Furthermore, after my Secondary school education he still provided guidance and through that I got enrolled into a Bachelor of Physician Assistantship Studies and graduated currently with an excellent grade.Upon all this help Mr Addo offered to me, he still made himself available to help me get to a higher level in my academic pursuit. Big thanks to Mr Addo
Hidden fact everything is mathematics, a language worth uncovering and acknowledging. Such esteemed subject definitely requires great minds to interpret and analyze, one of such minds I’ve encountered is The Highest Priest himself, Mr Samuel Addo. Sir Alge’s methods of teaching and learning evidently has potential to change perspective of which I’m a beneficiary. I remember having to stay awake nights to solve problems He came up with and in the process I discovered my hidden ability to navigate through issues which has enabled me to be forward thinking throughout my academic life and professionally too. His consistent pursuit for solutions to the most complex of problems motivated me to take advanced steps in achieving clarification on subject topics that directly influence daily lives. Today I am proud to have such a mentor, tutor and brother and would go extra to realize the full potential of mathematics. By the way I’m an now an engineer undergoing training as a field technician on subsea equipments, academically too a lil extra. One thing He left me with was to sign-up for something difficult and Finnish it off, results in an incredible feeling and accomplishment 💪 with that I wrap up my masters in mechanical engineering in three weeks, Sir Alge really laid a solid foundation, for that I appreciate🔥
The High Priest, salute. All the best 👍

I first met Sir Alge in my first year at Abuakwa State College, and it didn’t take long to see that he was not only an outstanding mathematics teacher, but also a rare kind of educator who truly invests in his students. Sir Alge was more than a teacher. He was a mentor, a guide, and a friend. His clear explanations and patient approach made even the most challenging topics in mathematics easy to grasp, and his dedication meant that no student was ever left to struggle alone.
What set him apart even more was the way he cared for us beyond the classroom. He often welcomed me and my friends into his home on weekends, where we would cook and share meals together. Those times created lasting memories and taught us lessons about kindness, humility, and the importance of building relationships.
His guidance shaped my academic confidence, strengthened my values, and broadened my outlook on life. It was his influence that inspired me to pursue engineering at university, a field in which I am currently excelling and will soon graduate. I will always be grateful for his wisdom, generosity, and example, which continue to guide me long after leaving his class.

Having Sir Samuel Addo as my teacher was one of the most transformative experiences in my academic journey. His teaching style wasn’t just delivering content — he genuinely invested in my growth, both academically and personally.
He always found ways to break down complex topics into simple, relatable examples, which made learning engaging and enjoyable.
Infact He was the fun teacher .
Sir Alge always encouraged me to aim for the best and strive for excellence only. Every effort in his teaching and guidance was to help students. The after school tutorials was another game changer for me. It helped me a lot.
Today, I am now pursuing my degree in University of Ghana. I will always be grateful for the training He put in, to bring out the best in me.
From SHS 1 to SHS 3, I had the privilege of being taught Elective Mathematics by Mr. Samuel Addo. Beyond the classroom lessons, he organized extra classes to ensure we understood every concept and were fully prepared for our examinations.
Mr. Addo was not just a teacher to me, he became a father figure and a true friend. And when I say “friend,” I mean the kind of person you can freely talk to and laugh with. He was so approachable and friendly with all of us that we could even use his phone sometimes to entertain ourselves in school. He always called me his daughter and made me feel included in everything. He often gave me questions to solve so I could be adequately prepared for my WASSCE, and whenever I didn’t understand something, he took his time to help me until I got it right. He is a very selfless man who even went the extra mile to help students out of his own pocket several times.
He corrected me when I went wrong, encouraged me when I was discouraged, and guided me to develop a stronger focus on my studies. His words of motivation and personal mentorship played a major role in my success in the WASSCE.
At times when I was struggling academically or personally, Mr. Addo stepped in,not only with advice but also with tangible support. He’s offered financial assistance to me countless times, bought me food, and made sure I never lacked the essentials to concentrate on my education. His care extended far beyond the four walls of the classroom, and his dedication to his students was evident in both his teaching and his actions.
Today, as I pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, I still carry with me the values and lessons he instilled in me. His encouragement continues to push me forward, and I know that without his guidance, I would not be where I am today. Mr. Samuel Addo is more than an excellent teacher. He is a hardworking, selfless, understanding, and devoted mentor whose impact will remain with me for life. He deserves every good thing that has happened to him and even more, because his kindness, dedication, and love for his students are truly rare. I am very grateful for his mentorship and support from senior high school to now.
A great teacher is indeed a good counsellor and influencer. Mr. Samuel Addo popularly known as Sir Alge is a great mathematics teacher whom I met at Abuakwa State College. Using those tricky but simple mathematics questions to tackle mathematics lessons was an unexpected teaching technique from any teacher. I could recall that we, the students without his influence, would use sometimes a week to come out with the correct answer to a question he posed to us. This tactics instilled in me the teamwork spirit.
Sir Alge was my core mathematics teacher for some semesters before travelling out. During this period, he initiated one great initiative called ” 8A’s project”. Eventhough, I didn’t achieve that this initiative influenced my Wassce results. Many people viewed him as a boastful individual but to me, as he shared with his humble beginning and his great achievements, it indicated that he was a great teacher. Looking at the past students like Drybones, the Georges’ great achievement shows how great Sir Alge is.
I wish he never travelled leaving us behind but it is required of any individual to improve not to be static hence I know his great influence will still be guiding me through my next stage of education.
Thank you for making learning fun and engaging. Your mentorship and guidance has been of great help to me. You thought me in SHS and know I’m at the University of Ghana- Legon.
Congratulations Sir Alge
Sir Addo was more than a great teacher, he gave me motivation when I wasn’t doing so well mathematics and he still does even now, when I am in the university,he believed in my capacity when I didn’t and I was very fortunate to have meet a teacher like him.
. “Your teaching style is pure magic! You’ve made complex concepts seem simple, and your enthusiasm is inspiring. I’m so lucky to have you as my mentor, and I know I’ll carry your lessons with me for a lifetime. God bless you, Sir Alge! 🙌 #Blessed #MathMagic”
My name is Esther Ampadu and being a student of Mr Samuel Addo popularly known as Sir Alge was a defining part of my academic journey. His dedication, patience, and deep understanding of the subject matter created a classroom environment that was both engaging and empowering. He had a unique way of making complex concepts accessible, often going beyond the syllabus to connect theory with real-world applications.
More than just a teacher, Sir Alge was a mentor who genuinely cared about our progress. He encouraged us to think critically, ask questions, and believe in our potential. Thanks to his support and guidance, I developed a strong academic foundation that helped me gain admission into UniMAC, where I pursued Communication Studies.

Thank you for your unwavering support and for inspiring me to keep pushing forward.
Warm regards,
Former Student, Khemikal
Mr Samuel Addo was one of the best tutor i met in my live as a student at Abuakwa State College, but we called him Sir Alge due to his unique understanding of math and how he teaches it . He was a beacon of hope and motivation. He makes learning simple and his presence turns the class into a welcoming one. With his dedication and efforts he makes most of the difficult lessons very simple and easy to understand ,he has this special way of teaching because the methods and formulars he used was totally different and most at times it cant be found in any book. I did not get much experience with him as a teacher and student but with the few times he taught me i really learnt a lot. Sir Alge has a very calm and friendly character and to me almost every student felt free to approach him. To me Sir Alge is so far the best math teacher i ever met.

Currently, I’m pursuing further studies as an upcoming electrical engineer, and the foundation Sir Alge helped me build has been instrumental in my progress. I appreciate his great influence and would recommend him to anyone seeking a supportive and knowledgeable tutor.
Thanks very much Sir Alge, you are truly among the best tutors I’ve ever met
Sir Alge is the best mathematics teacher I’ve ever met. He turned me from someone who dreaded mathematics to someone who solves maths problems as a hobby. He made the subject so interesting and easy. His style of teaching is impeccable and he helps students both inside and outside of class. He’s undoubtedly the best teacher I’ve ever had. He has such a good interpersonal relationship with students, it’s truly remarkable. I really appreciate you Sir. God bless you and I wish you all the best in your endeavours.
I had the privilege to be Mr. Samuel’s student in SHS 1 when I was in the 1 Arts 2 class. His teaching changed the whole perspective I had with mathematics. He made me understand every concept. He always made me feel I was being taught by my sister because thier teaching styles were so much alike. It was a pity I had to leave his class to another class. Even with that, I always applied his methods and it really helped me alot.
All I can say is, keep it up👍. You’ve helped alot and I know you will continue to do so with God’s blessings and guidance.
Sir Alge was my extra classes teacher in SHS. He taught me Elective and Core Mathematics, and his teaching style completely changed my perspective on the subject, helping me build both skill and confidence. Through his clear explanations and ability to make complex topics simple, I developed a genuine love for the subject. He also gave us valuable advice about life beyond the classroom, which made his lessons even more impactful. Thanks to his guidance, I overcame my fear of Elective Mathematics, and for the first time, I felt confident in my abilities.
Thanks to his guidance, I earned a B in Elective Mathematics in WASSCE, and today, as a Computer Engineering student, I’m confident in Engineering Mathematics because of the strong foundation he built for me. Sir Alge is an incredible teacher whose influence has had a lasting effect on both my academics and mindset. Thank you, Sir Alge, for everything.
Sir Alge is a dedicated and reliable teacher who approaches his work with professionalism. He prepares his lessons with care, ensuring that students receive the necessary resources and explanations to support their learning. His teaching style is structured and clear, allowing students to follow lessons easily.
My name is Prince Abraham and a student of Mr. Samuel Addo. I attest to all that my colleagues have written about Sir Alge in my experience. I became one of his closest students because he approached me first, encouraged me and showed interest in my academic work. That made me feel accepted and comfortable around him because growing up, I didn’t have a teacher who came so close like the one I saw with Sir Alge. There was a motivation to learn and a teacher to please. Sir Alge taught me Mathematics and there were times I could say there’s no single question I can’t answer on a particular topic such as 3 set problem. I could say this because of how Sir exhausted the trickiness of every question in his explanation and questions he gives us to solve. I was a proud Mathematics Student because of Sir Alge, my teacher. From start to finish, I had A1.
One exceptional thing I experienced with Sir was that he always finds out how your family is doing? With me, more about my mum. And extends his regards anytime we speak on phone.
We completed and he so much believed in my results yet he said I could do better than what I did with encouragement. Moreover, knew the surety of my greater works in the tertiary education. I went to KNUST to read BSc. Food Science and Technology. The first semester I did Mathematics for Chemist and I had 94%. I knew where it was coming from. Sir Alge did not seize contact with us and whenever we reached out, we were so welcomed as sons. I did send my results anytime they were released.
You would have taught his relationship with us was just one of a teacher to student but he foresaw potentials been actualised and seeing all that sat under his tutelage on top. I mean that is remarkable of a teacher.
Thanks to Mr. Samuel Addo. God bless you mightily for your love and support to us all. Sir Alge, we will make you proud.
