Police have arrested an executive of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Suame Constituency of the Ashanti Region.
Razak Avoliya whose video went viral saying the NDC will “kill to win power” in the 2024 election is now in custody.
A police statement said the constituency Youth Organizer was picked up “following an investigation into a viral video in which he incited political violence ahead of the 2024 general elections.
“The suspect is in Police custody and will be put before the court to face justice,” the statement added.
