Sarah Adwoa Safo, the head of the Safo family and a former member of parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, has vehemently denied internet rumors that her father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, had died.
Adwoa Safo emphasized that her father is healthy and strong in a stern statement, calling the publication—which was featured on other websites, such as connectghananews.com—”false, malicious, and deeply insensitive.”
She warned bloggers and media entities disseminating such unsubstantiated reports to promptly release a public rejoinder to revoke the erroneous claim or risk legal repercussions.
“My father is still alive, doing well, and carrying out his regular responsibilities. These death hoaxes are disrespectful and careless. I’m warning everyone responsible for these publications to take back and apologize right now, or we won’t think twice about taking legal action to get justice,” Adwoa Safo said.
She also disclosed that the family and the Kristo Asafo Church are planning a lavish celebration in honor of Apostle Kwadwo Safo, who will celebrate his birthday on August 30.
Adwoa Safo advised the public to ignore the misleading information and depend on reliable sources for truthful updates on her father’s condition.
